The short answer
Myprotein scores 4.1 out of 5 across 32,818 reviews, by far the biggest volume of any brand we track, and replies to 99% of negative reviews. On prices, everything depends on the current promotion: on promotion, its creatine is the cheapest we have recorded, at 2.80 EUR per 100 g. Its Impact whey, on the other hand, is a 72% protein concentrate, sweetened with sucralose, which even when discounted costs the same per kilo of protein as a French isolate.
What our price checks found
| Product | Size | Price recorded | Price per active |
|---|---|---|---|
| Impact Whey Protein, vanilla | 3.6 kg | 139.99 EUR on promotion | 54.01 EUR per kilo of protein |
| Impact Whey Protein, vanilla | 900 g | 38.99 EUR on promotion, 59.99 EUR crossed-out price | 60.17 EUR per kilo of protein on promotion, 92.58 EUR at the crossed-out price |
| Creatine monohydrate powder | 1 kg | 27.99 EUR on promotion | 2.80 EUR per 100 g |
| Creatine monohydrate powder | 500 g | 14.99 EUR on promotion, 24.99 EUR crossed-out price | 3.00 EUR per 100 g on promotion, 5.00 EUR at the crossed-out price |
The crossed-out price matters as much as the discounted one. Myprotein lives by its promotions, which are almost permanent. Without them, its 900 g whey goes up to 92.58 EUR per kilo of protein, one of the most expensive we have recorded. Never buy at the crossed-out price.
Where Myprotein is best
Creatine, on promotion. At 2.80 EUR per 100 g in the 1 kg bag, it comes in below every one in our creatine comparison: 5.99 EUR at Nutripure, 6.99 EUR at Dynveo, 9.97 EUR at Nutri&Co. Creatine monohydrate is one of the most studied supplements, and a monohydrate is still a monohydrate. If a raw-material label such as Creapure matters to you, check it on the product page before buying: we did not find it.
The choice. Dozens of flavours, plant-based versions, sizes from 450 g to 3.6 kg: none of the French brands we track has that breadth of range.
Where it is less appealing
Impact whey is not an isolate. It is a whey concentrate with 72% protein in its vanilla version, with an emulsifier (soya and sunflower lecithin) and sucralose. Even on promotion and in a large size, it works out at 54.01 EUR per kilo of protein, practically the price of Nutripure’s native isolate in the 4 kg tub (54.69 EUR, 86.8 g of protein per 100 g): at that price, the isolate is the better buy. For a shorter ingredients list, our whey comparison gives the alternatives.
What customers say
| Indicator | Value |
|---|---|
| Average rating | 4.1 / 5 |
| Number of reviews | 32,818 |
| 5 stars | 65% |
| 4 stars | 15% |
| 3 stars | 6% |
| 2 stars | 4% |
| 1 star | 10% |
| Replies to negative reviews | 99% |
On the positive side: fast dispatch, perceived product quality and the variety of flavours come up most.
On the negative side: mixed reviews about orders and prices, and customers who regret the presence of emulsifiers and sucralose, which the Impact Whey ingredients list confirms.
The 10% of one-star reviews is more than double the French brands we track (4%). At that volume, it is a real gap, one that mostly concerns ordering and delivery, not the products.
Who it suits, in practice
Yes for creatine, during a promotion: it is the best price per gram we have recorded. Yes too if you want choice in flavours and sizes.
No if you are after a whey with a short ingredients list: an isolate without a synthetic sweetener costs barely more per kilo of protein from a French brand. And never at the crossed-out price: wait for the next promotion, it comes quickly.
How we put this page together
We have not tested these products and we do not claim to. This page draws on two verifiable sources.
Our own price checks. Each price was taken from the brand’s official page, on the date shown under each table, then converted to a price per active: the kilo of protein, the 100 g of creatine, the 100 mg of magnesium, the kilo of collagen. A price per tub tells you nothing; a price per active lets you compare. These price checks are the ones from our comparisons.
Aggregated customer reviews, taken from Trustpilot: rating, volume, breakdown by stars and rate of replies to negative reviews. A customer review measures the buying experience (delivery, service, taste), not how well a supplement works.
Prices change, promotions especially. Always check the current price on the brand’s website before buying.
