Tips
The whipped cream adds fat, not calories. 6.48 g of fat against 3.42 g for a dessert cream, but 139 kcal against 138: the air in the whipped cream makes up in volume for what it adds in fat.
One pot weighs 100 g: count on 139 kcal. This is a reasonable dessert, in the lower half of the aisle.
14.6 g of sugars, or three sugar cubes per pot. This is the figure to remember: the liégeois is still a sweet dessert, even if it is low in calories.
19.6 µg of iodine and 92.5 mg of calcium. The milk does the work: it is a sweetened dairy product, and the micronutrients are real.
Homemade, a dessert cream and real whipped cream. A little unsweetened whipped cream on a homemade chocolate cream: you remove most of the flavourings and additives.
