Goji berries
The goji berry is the dried fruit of the Chinese wolfberry, sold in Europe as a superfood since the 2000s. In Chinese medicine it has been used for centuries, but as an ingredient in broth, not as a supplement.
In terms of nutrition facts, dried berries provide 300 kcal per 100 g, with 48.4 g of sugars and 12.1 g of protein, which is considerable for a fruit. They provide 1,600 mg of potassium, 11.8 g of fibre, 4.9 mg of iron, 89.2 mg of magnesium and 4.31 mg of vitamin E per 100 g.

Tips
48.4 g of sugars: it is a dried fruit, not a remedy. Weight for weight, it is as sweet as a date. A 30 g portion provides 90 kcal and 14.5 g of sugars, which count towards your day.
1,600 mg of potassium: the record among the fruits in our database. A 30 g portion covers a quarter of the reference intake. Worth flagging if you have kidney failure, where potassium needs to be limited.
Interaction with anticoagulants: this is documented. Several cases of unstable INR have been reported in patients taking warfarin who ate goji berries. Tell your doctor.
Its health claims are not proven. Eyesight, immunity, longevity: serious clinical studies are lacking. It is a decent dried fruit, not a therapeutic product, and its price bears no relation to its nutritional value.
The 12.1 g of protein, on the other hand, is real. No other dried fruit in our database provides as much. Rehydrated in a broth or a compote, as in its traditional use, it has its place.
