Sautéed potatoes

Frozen sautéed potatoes are part-fried at the factory and then simply reheated in a frying pan. That pre-frying is the heart of the story: the fat is already there when you open the bag.

Tips

Do not add any fat to the pan. This is the decisive tip: they are already part-fried and release their own oil. A hot non-stick pan is enough, and they brown perfectly.

4 g of fibre and 570 mg of potassium: the best scores in the category. Ahead of potato wedges and noisette potatoes.

0.19 g of salt: four times less than the competition. They are not seasoned during manufacture, which leaves you in control, and that is a real advantage.

156 kcal, or twice a plain potato. The pre-frying doubles the energy. Homemade sautéed new potatoes remain lighter.

Cook them from frozen, without defrosting. Once defrosted, they release their water and boil instead of browning.
