- 1 orange
- 1 lime
- 1 bunch of mint
Method

- Squeeze the orange and lime for their juice.
- Toss the fruit with the juice and the shredded mint.
- Leave to rest in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Nutritional benefits
Fresh fruit is naturally rich in vitamins, fibre and water, making a low-calorie dessert with no added sugar. Mint and lime lift the flavours without adding anything extra. The best way to end a meal on a sweet but healthy, light note.
Variations and substitutions
- With seasonal fruit (summer: peach, apricot; winter: citrus fruit, apple).
- With basil instead of mint.
- With plain yoghurt for extra protein.
- With berries only.
Storage and making ahead
Keeps for 2 days in the fridge, although the fruit will release juice. Add delicate fruit at the last moment.
💡 Good to know
Lime juice brightens the flavours and stops fruit (apple, banana) from browning: it is the trick to a vibrant fruit salad.
