Nutritional benefits

Chia seeds are rich in soluble fibre, plant omega-3 and protein, topped up here with a scoop of protein powder (22 g per serving). The result is a filling, low-glycaemic-index snack, ideal for supporting muscle mass between meals or after exercise. Naturally gluten-free.

Variations and substitutions

  • Chocolate: chocolate protein powder and cocoa.
  • Without protein powder: skyr or fromage blanc.
  • With seasonal fruit or peanut butter.
  • Lactose-free: use a plant-based drink.

Storage and making ahead

Keeps for 3 to 4 days in the fridge: prepare several jars ahead for the week.

💡 Good to know

Stir a second time 5 minutes after the first: this trick stops the seeds clumping together and gives an even texture.
